Honors English 2 is an accelerated curriculum that challenges students to explore and cultivate an understanding of various genres of Literature. While reading numerous novels, plays, and poetry, students learn to analyze, synthesize and evaluate a range of literary themes and concepts. Students aim to improve their reading, writing, vocabulary and grammar skills by exploring and applying specific common instructional framework strategies. Additional activities will require students to research, and create oral presentations either individually or as a member of a group and collaboratively create multiple novel-based projects.
